Q: If I order something, how long does it take for the order to be processed?

At Dan’s Diesel Performance, most orders will be processed same day if the item is a stocking part. Custom fabricated parts, powder coated parts, or other in house products, may require 2-3 days to process.

Q: Once the order is processed, how long before it ships?

Once an order is processed, it will usually ship the same day it is completed.

Q: How late can I place an order I want shipped the same day?

Any orders placed before 3pm will typically ship same day if it is a stocking part. DDP fabricated, powder coated, or custom parts may take 2-4 days.  HSP product that is not in stock may take 3-4 weeks to ship.  

Q: If I select Next Day shipping on a Friday, when will my order arrive?

All Next Day shipments will be received on the next business day. Friday orders will be received on Monday. If you need the order on a Saturday, please call us at 815-977-5865 and we can set up Next Day Saturday shipping.

Q: Sales prices

Dan's Diesel Performance has sales on various products throughout the year. A sale price only pertains to items within the sale during the sales period. Sales prices may not be credited to previous or current pending orders. All prices are final upon order confirmation.

Q: What shipping options are available?

Dan's Diesel Performance, INC. ships merchandise to locations within the United States and U.S. territories, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands. Additionally, Dan's Diesel Performance, INC. ships merchandise to Canada, Mexico, and a few more countries, but not to other international locations. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this web site pass on to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier.

Q: International Orders

Customs and import duties may be applied to International orders when the shipment reaches its destination. Such charges are the responsibility of the recipient of your order and vary from country to country. Contact your local customs office for details.

Shipping laws are different in each country. It is your responsibility to check with your Customs office to verify whether the country to which you are shipping permits the shipment of your products. Dan's Diesel Performance, INC. is not responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages that arise from improper international shipping practices.

Q: Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled up until the time it goes into processing. Once the order is in the processing or building stage a cancellation will result in a 10% cancellation fee. Once an order has shipped it may no longer be cancelled. Refer to our return policy.

Q: Return Policy

You may purchase merchandise from this web site by using any one of the payment options as follows: credit card, Affirm and PayPal. Dan's Diesel Performance, INC. reserves the right to change its payment procedures at any time without prior notice to you. There are no returns on used parts. Parts must be in new condition in their unopened original box to be eligible for return. All returns must be made within 30 days of sale. There are no returns or refunds on digital or electronic products. TCMs and any powder coated products are non-returnable. If the part is defective upon receiving, missing, or an incorrect part was issued, please contact Dan's Diesel Performance, INC. as soon as possible for an exchange. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Refunds will only be issued to the payment method that was used for the purchase. If a check must be issued due to the customer closing his credit card account, then a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund.

When shipping to DDP, do not use the USPS Post Office.  Dan's Diesel Performance is not responsible for lost or damaged products due to shipping services.  An RMA number must be acquired prior to sending in a return.

Q: Core Returns

Core Returns must be received within 60 days after order has been delivered to the customer. Cores that are returned within the 60 days and pass quality core inspection will be issued a full core refund. Cores returned after 60 days will only receive half of the original core charge unless prior arrangements have been made with Dan's Diesel Performance. Cores will not be accepted past 6 months.

All cores are inspected for damage such as broken cases, broken shafts, excessive hard part failure, etc. Dan's Diesel Performance will deduct the cost of these replacement parts from the core refund. Cores which are non-useable will not receive a core refund. Dan's Diesel Performance reserves the right to reject issuing a core refund if the core return guidelines are not met. Core charges placed on a credit card will only be refunded to the original credit card that was used. If a check must be issued due to the customer closing that credit card account, then a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the core refund.

When shipping cores, do not use the USPS Post Office.  Please package cores in a sturdy box with proper packing material.  Dan's Diesel Performance is not responsible for lost or damaged cores due to shipping services.
