Description
The AL5 Transmission Control Module is found in the 2001-2005 2500HD/3500, CC and Medium Duty trucks with the Allison Transmission.
We offer a Pre-programmed TCM which comes with either factory calibrations or our enhanced calibrations.

Fits Chevrolet and GMC 2500HD and 3500HD Pickup, Cab&Chassis, Kodiak and Topkick trucks. 10th digit of VIN being a 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5. We offer this module for the Duramax and 8.1 Gas.

Q: How long does it take to install?
A: The TCM can be installed in under 5 minutes with 10mm socket and ratchet.
Q: Do I need to unhook my batteries to install?
A: No. The TCM can be swapped with batteries hooked up.
Q: I have a tuner on my truck. Which TCM should I order?
A: Whether your truck is bone stock or tuned we recommend the custom tuned version. It’s going to improve the way your truck performs and responds.
Q: Does the tuned TCM help with fuel economy?
A: We don’t make any claims to fuel economy gains, but some customers have reported an increase. This would be due to the more efficient power transfer.
Q: What is the warranty?
A: One year unlimited miles against defects.
Q: Can I return the TCM if it doesn't fix my trucks problem?
A: No. Once the TCM is installed it can not be returned. We recommend proper diagnosis before placing your order. We are here to help if you have any questions.

I ordered the tcm with enhanced calibration over the phone and have had it on the truck for almost a month now so far it has been good. The customer service was great, delivered in good time wasn't terribly expensive. When you put this on your truck start it up and it doesn't go into reverse or drive don't panic...take whatever obd scanner you have delete the dtc codes and try her again worked like a charm for me.

I fried my TCM when I tried resodering my abs module. I was referred to dans diesel by a friend on Facebook. Didn't see to many reviews so was kinda skeptical but went with it because I didn't want have my truck towed to the dealer. I ordered it and got next day shipping and when it arrived took 10min to put in and worked like a charm. Was able to tow my trail to enjoy memorial day. Danny is amazing and super helpful unlike the hand full of other places I called.
