EFILive is a computer based software that allows for fully unlocking your vehicle's potential. It gives you control over every aspect of the engine. With DDP custom tuning, we can make sure that your diesel is running at it's peak performance.
The most common tunes that customers ask for are as follows; Max Performance, Performance, Light Performance, Economy, and Tow. However, we can build any kind of tune you'd like. Each truck is different, and we understand that.
-Dyno results on and '06 LBZ Duramax proved that you can make 500hp on a stock engine, stock fuel system, and stock Allison transmission. With an '04.5 LLY Duramax, we have proven you can see 543hp/1206ft/lbs of torque on a stock engine/fuel system with a built transmission.
-With economy and tow tunes, we have proven significant MPG gains(some over a 6MPG gain!), and low EGT's when hauling.
-Our performance tunes have shown time and time again that they perform well in sled pulling & drag racing. Trucks running stock engine, stock fuel system, and a moderately built trans have had times of 12.8 seconds in the 1/4 mile. Trucks running stock engine, stock fuel system, and a stock trans have had times of 13.6 seconds in the 1/4 mile.
-No two trucks are ever tuned the same. Each receives individual attention for your supporting mods. It's our goal to provide you with power while maintaining reliability.
-Throughout our time doing Cummins EFILive Beta testing we have gathered lots of new information. The max amount of power(to date) we've been able to make on stock engine, stock fuel system, and a G56 manual transmission supporting a dual disc clutch was 483hp/1064ft/lb of torque. This same tune when daily driving runs similar to a stock truck down low, but putting the power down when it's demanded. The MPG gains rose from 16 to 21-22 on average, maintaining 15MPG's while towing a fully loaded 32ft trailer. EGT's are very reasonable as well. When ascending an incline with a loaded trailer, the truck never lost speed but rather gained without EGT's rising much.
